However, there are other choices for anyone whose taste in music is a bit different. You can get ringtones from every genre of music, even songs that are more obscure and not current hits. The trick is knowing where to look for the best ringtones. Your cellular phone provider may offer several ringtones that come standard with your phone. They may also give you the opportunity to download new ringtones right from your phone, although this will probably cost you more than you would like to pay.

There are quite a few websites where you can find hot ringtones for your mobile phone. Sometimes they are free, other times there is a one-time or recurring fee required. Make sure you read the fine print when downloading ringtones, because often there are hidden fees attached to so-called free offers. You may have even seen those commercials advertising the hottest truetone Top 40 ringtones. Down at the bottom of the screen, you will see tiny text that explains how much these cleverly advertised ringtones are going to cost you. When downloading popular ringtones, just make sure you know how much you're going to pay.
